Every Day is Busy When You're < One Year Old
People are always making comments about what an easy life I have. They say all I do is sleep, eat and poop. But I take exception to this. I have a very busy life!
Today, for example. I was up at 3:00 a.m. to start my daily exploration of the house. There are so many things to discover, I really have no time to waste. Mama is pretty good about this. She brought me downstairs to play and even made me food though I know she was tired. I kept giving her little things to play with to keep her busy. See, I know every time I put something small in my mouth (that isn't food) she will come over and take it out.
Anyway, later on I discovered that I can use the plastic toys with wheels to walk! Mama was doing the dishes and I walked right on into the kitchen where she was doing dishes. Since she was busy I played with the refrigerator magnets, which is one of my favorite activities. I am learning all about magnetic force. Mama was a bit alarmed because I opened a cabinet and started throwing cans all over the floor. But she didn't realize I was in the middle of an important scientific experiment. I put refrigerator magnets on all the cans...and they stuck! It didn't work on the jars, they just fell off.
Now I'm giving a little concert on my new xylophone. Here are some action shots...
So you see, being a baby is quite challenging. Next time you see a baby and feel jealous, just remember how much work we are doing each day!
Until Nex time...
